Paul Annixter (given name Howard Allison Sturtzel) was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on June 25, 1894. He married Jane Levington Comfort on February 18, 1920. Annixter wrote many books before marrying, but is most known for his works with his wife. His interests included gardening, reading, and mountain climbing. He died in November of 1985.
