James Roderick Moir (born 24 January 1959), also known by his stage name Vic Reeves, is an English comedian and artist. He has a double act with Bob Mortimer as Reeves & Mortimer . He is known for his surreal sense of humour.
He's best known for his partnership with Bob Mortimer in the comedy duo Reeves and Mortimer. After his wife left him he became engaged to the actress Emilia Fox who he co stared with in Randal and Hopkirk Deceased but while the relationship didn't last they remained good friends.

Reeves and Mortimer, colloquially known as Vic and Bob, are a British double act consisting of Vic Reeves (born 24 January 1959; real name Jim Moir) and Bob Mortimer (born 23 May 1959). They have written and starred in several comedy programmes on British television since 1990, with Reeves having made his first TV appearance in 1986.
- His real name is Jim Moir, but his mum called him by his middle name, Rod. His dad was also called Jim but his mum called him Nick. His granddad was also called Jim, but HIS middle name was Gatherer.
