David Ian (born David Ian Lane; February 1961) [1] is a British theatre producer and former actor. [2] Biography. Ian started out as an actor and appeared in a number of UK theatre productions, including the musicals The Pirates of Penzance, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and The Rocky Horror Show.
David Ian is a jazz pianist known for his holiday-themed albums. Born David Ghazarian in Toronto, Canada, Ian began playing classical piano around age five, and later studied jazz piano with Akron, Ohio's Pat Pace. Besides piano, Ian is also an accomplished guitarist and played in various rock bands growing up.
