Miranda Downes. Miranda left her friends to go for a run on the beach at about 6pm. While there, invalid pensioner Ernest Arthur Knibb mercilessly ploughed into her in a yellow Ford Bronco. He then sexually assaulted and partially strangled her, before throwing her into the ocean. Her body was found about eight hours later.
