ARRAYTOTEXT function. Excel for Microsoft 365 Excel for Microsoft 365 for Mac Excel for the web. The ARRAYTOTEXT function returns an array of text values from any specified range. It passes text values unchanged, and converts non-text values to text.
An array is a collection of values in rows and columns (like a table) that you want to search. For example, if you want to search columns A and B, down to row 6. LOOKUP will return the nearest match. To use the array form, your data must be sorted.

You can use constants in your array formulas or by themselves. In your array formula, type an opening brace, the values you want, and a closing brace. Here's an example: =SUM(A1:E1*{1,2,3,4,5})
