Paul Barrosse was born in 1958 and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Cleveland Central Catholic High School where he made his directorial debut in the 1976 Catholic Theatre Conference One Act Festival with The Dumbwaiter, a one-act play by Harold Pinter.
