Cassis B Staudt. I am Cassis B, songwriter and composer. Over the past several decades, I have led my own bands, recorded albums and written scores for film and TV. With Michael Gira’s band Angels of Light, I toured the US and Europe and also recorded with The Swans.
Cassis Birgit Staudt is a German musician, composer, performer and teacher. Cassis won a Palm d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival for her work as a producer for filmmaker Jim Jarmusch, and she was the muse behind the Oscar-nominated film Ferry Tales.
