Since 1998, Chan has been a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador [3] [4] and supports the Japan Committee for UNICEF. [5]
Mini Bio. Agnes Chan was born on August 20, 1955 in Hong Kong. She was the fifth to be born of seven children in her family. She received her Christian name "Agnes" when she was two years old. When she was six years old she enrolled in Maryknoll Sisters School which was a Catholic missionary school in Hong Kong.
