Benjamin Daniel Lobato grew up in south San Diego. He spent six years in the Army as a Military Police Officer, and three years in the elite Joint Counter/Narco-Terrorism Task Force. He holds an M.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and B.A. degrees in Creative Writing and Media Arts from the University of Arizona.
