Sidney Lanier High School was a public high school in Montgomery, Alabama, United States. History. Established in 1910 on the southern outskirts of downtown Montgomery, Alabama, the school was named for a Southern poet, Sidney Lanier, who lived in Montgomery during 1866–67.
The Lanier High Teen Wellness clinic was funded by the University of Mississippi Medical Center, UMC School of Nursing, and Opus RX. Additionally, the National Lanier Alumni Association has offered financial gifts for the renovation of the clinic and for the Concussion Screening Program.

Sep 24, 2018 · The Lanier High Teen Wellness Clinic opened in 2015 and offers primary and preventive care to over 800 students at Lanier High School. The clinic is staffed by family nurse practitioners and a certified medical assistant.
May 9, 2024 · Lanier High School hired former NFL and Mississippi State football player Tommy Kelly as its football coach Thursday. Kelly, 43, replaces Michael Ashford, who had been in charge at Lanier since 2017.
