Songwriter ("How'd You Like to Spoon With Me?"), composer, author and publisher, a musical colleague of Jerome Kern, educated at the City College of New York and the New York Conservatory. He was a charter member of ASCAP (1914), and was a music publisher between 1908 and 1910.
