"Clouds" is a song by by American singer-songwriter Slayyyter. It is the seventh track on her debut album, Troubled Paradise, and the fourth single from the album, released February 26th, 2021.
The track title first leaked on August 2020 along with the rest of the album's tracklist. In the behind the scenes video for the Troubled Paradise music video, Slayyyter revealed that the track's music video was also being shot at the same set. It was later revealed on iTunes on January 21, 2021. A video of a Hit Clip with the track was posted onto her Instagram and Twitter on February 21, 2021. Slayyyter then announced it would be released on February 26, 2021 via Twitter. She shared snippets of the music video on Twitter later that day.
A demo of the song leaked on February 5, 2021, along with the rest of the album. The demo is shorter than the final song, only being 2:57. The demo is probably from around August 2020 when people got access to the album.
Slayyyter first revealed a blurred photo of the image which is used in the album's vinyl. She revealed the cover art on February 24, 2021. The artwork was shot by Munachi Osegbu, and designed by Glitchmood.
