Christopher David Matheson (born December 11, 1959) is an American film director and screenwriter. Matheson is best known for his collaborations with fellow screenwriter Ed Solomon, together creating the Bill & Ted franchise, writing the three films Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, and Bill & Ted Face the Music.
Christian John Patrick Matheson (born 2 January 1968) is a former Labour Party politician. He served as Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency of City of Chester from winning the seat in the 2015 general election until his resignation in October 2022 following sexual misconduct allegations.
Chris Matheson is a filmmaker who co-created the Bill & Ted franchise with Ed Solomon. He was born in 1959 in Los Angeles and has two children with his wife Patricia Paschell.
