Tom Reeves was born September 15, 1964, in Eagle Butte, South Dakota. He is a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and grew up on the family ranch located on the reservation. He is the only American Indian PRCA World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider, a feat he accomplished in 2001.
