These days it’s managed by Jean-Marc Roulot, who took over in 1989, giving up his acting career in Paris. Since his return to Meursault, Jean-Marc kept increasing the domain’s holdings through mix of vineyards purchase and fermage contracts.

While Jean-Marc's wines tend to get most of the spotlight, he has also developed a talent for distillation. The Roulots have been making spirits since 1866 and Jean-Marc's father had a particular love for the process of making fruit eau de vie.
Created in the early 2000’s, Jean-Marc Roulot of Domaine Roulot created a micro-negoçe label under his own name. The wines of his micro-negoçe for the most part are indiscernible from the wines of the domaine say for the label reads Jean-Marc as opposed to Domaine.
