Oct 3, 2011 · True, Velocette did go into production with a shaft-drive machine in post-war years, but this was the very unconventional Model LE, designed as an ultra-quiet machine for the everyday rider. Its power unit was initially a water-cooled 150 cc side-valve flat twin, eventually growing to 192 cc.
