Kubec Glasmon (August 12, 1897 – March 13, 1938) was an American screenwriter from Poland, who was nominated for the now defunct category of Best Story at the 4th Academy Awards. He was nominated for Best Story with John Bright for The Public Enemy.
Kubec Glasmon was a Polish-American screenwriter and novelist. Originally working as a pharmacist, Glasmon collaborated with John Bright in writing a number of crime stories and novels. In 1931, his novel "The Public Enemy" was adapted into a film, and Glasmon himself was hired as its screenwriter.

The screenplay is based on an unpublished novel—Beer and Blood by two former newspapermen, John Bright and Kubec Glasmon—who had witnessed some of Al Capone's murderous gang rivalries in Chicago.
