Danny Lewis Hansford (March 1, 1960 – May 2, 1981) was an American shooting victim who was killed by his employer, historic preservationist and antiques dealer Jim Williams, at Williams' home in Savannah, Georgia, United States.
Oct 19, 2023 · Fifth District officers responded to the 700 block of 15th Street, Northeast, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a man with gunshot wound injuries. He died at the scene. The victim has been identified as 37-year-old Daniel Hansford, of no fixed address.

His death was recounted in John Berendt's 1994 non-fiction book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and its 1997 film adaptation.

Oct 20, 2023 · According to MPD documents, officers responded to the location for the report of a shooting, where they located a man with gunshot wound injuries. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The victim was identified as 37-year-old Daniel Hansford.
