Akaji Maro (麿 赤児, Maro Akaji, born February 23, 1943) is a Japanese actor, Butoka, and theater director.
Maro Akaji is the founder of the avant-garde butoh group Dai Rakuda-kan and the father of film director Omori Tatsushi. He has appeared in many Japanese dramas and movies since 1964, such as The Naked Director, Lupin no Musume, and The Confidence Man JP.

麿 赤兒 （まろ あかじ、本名：大森 宏 [1] 、 1943年 2月23日 - ）は、 日本 の 俳優 、 舞踏家 、 演出家 。 暗黒舞踏 集団・ 大駱駝艦 主宰。 所属事務所は同傘下の芸能事務所・キャメルアーツ。 父は 海軍大佐 の 大森潤一 （ 海兵 54期卒）。 長男は 映画監督 の 大森立嗣 、次男は俳優の 大森南朋 。 来歴・人物. 石川県 金沢市 生まれ [1] [2] 。 父親の潤一は 大日本帝国海軍 の軍人（中佐）で、 第一航空艦隊 参謀 として テニアン島 に赴任。 1944年（昭和19年）7月から始まる テニアンの戦い に参加して、翌8月2日、 角田覚治 司令長官らと塹壕に設えた司令部にて 手榴弾 で 自決 した（死後特進して大佐）。
