Charles Dallas Hicks (December 26, 1927 – May 4, 2021) was an American actor and stuntman. [2] [3] Early life. Hicks attended Burbank High School, where he was senior class president in 1946 and played football. [4] During World War II, Hicks served in the U.S. Merchant Marine and later in the Navy.
Chuck Hicks (1927-2021) was a versatile and prolific performer in films and TV shows, known for his roles as a boxer, brawler, henchman and zombie. He also worked as a stand-in, stunt double and stunt coordinator for many stars, including Clint Eastwood and Paul Sorvino.

From the time he attended school in Burbank, California, Chuck Hicks established a solid reputation as an all-round athlete, subsequently to become an alumnus of Loyola University (on a scholarship) where he played both football and rugby.
