Gunsmoke (TV Series 1955–1975) Strother Martin as Ben Snow, Billy, Cooter, Dillard, Dooley, Ed Davey, Gene Bunch, Mr. Stooler, Rowley, Timble.
Martin also portrays a man with learning difficulties in "Cooter", an episode written by Sam Peckinpah in 1956 for the second season of the long-running Western series Gunsmoke. He had many various, and prominent, roles throughout the entire series.
Strother Martin does a great job as the hapless wood carver who is tormented by the Ginnis clan. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he has a good heart and it's disturbing when he suffers at the hands of the cruel Ginnis louts.
