Anne Baxter (May 7, 1923 – December 12, 1985) was an American actress, star of Hollywood films, Broadway productions, and television series. She won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe, and was nominated for an Emmy.
Anne Baxter was an Oscar-winning actress who starred in films such as The Razor's Edge, All About Eve and The Ten Commandments. She was also a stage and TV performer, and the granddaughter of architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

Dec 26, 2019 · Anne Baxter was one of Hollywood's biggest stars in her day. She had an easy way in at a time when other artists had to pay their dues. The actress signed a 7-year deal with Twentieth Century-Fox as a 17-year-old in 1940 and got loaned out to MGM soon after.
