Burt Ward (born Bert John Gervis Jr. / ˈ dʒ ɜːr v ɪ s /; July 6, 1945) is an American actor, animal welfare activist and businessman.
Burt Ward is best known as Robin, the Boy Wonder, in the classic Batman TV series and movie. He is also a black belt in karate, a friend of Bruce Lee, and a co-founder of Gentle Giants Rescue and Adoptions, a nonprofit charity for dogs.
