Clare Eames (August 5, 1894 – November 8, 1930) was an American actress and stage director, and the first wife of playwright Sidney Howard.
Clare Eames, the niece of opera star Emma Eames, first appeared on stage at the Greenwich Village Theater in The Big Scene on April 18, 1918. In March 1921, Eames attracted considerable attention when she performed at the Ritz Theater in the title role of John Drinkwater's Mary Stuart .
