Edmund Francis Giesbert, known professionally as Ed Gilbert, was an American actor and voice actor with extensive credits in both live-action roles and voice work in animation, although he was better known for the latter.
For Disney, he voiced Baloo, Khan's Pilot, Austin Featheridge, Pirate Guard, and Khan's Navigator in TaleSpin, Le Grand Fromage in the Adventures of the Gummi Bears episode "Once More, the Crimson Avenger", the Warden in DuckTales, the Judge in the Goof Troop episode "Bringin' on the Rain", the Captain of the Guard and Bodhe in Gargoyles, Fasir in the Aladdin TV series, and the Pirate's Captain in The Little Mermaid TV series. He also voiced Francois in The Rescuers Down Under and Male Merman in The Little Mermaid. Additionally, he voiced Tigger on albums and reading cassettes in the early 1990s.
