I work in the area of mathematics known as complex analysis. It requires a diverse knowledge of mathematics, which makes it a very effective problem-solving tool. I get the intellectual joy of doing some very creative work. Moreover, this gives me the breadth to understand, work and teach different areas of mathematics.
