Dec 9, 2019 · For Indigenous women like Pamela Beebe from Kainai Nation in southern Alberta, the stakes are high. Beebe grew up seeing and experiencing violence from both Indigenous and non-Indigenous people.
Pamela Beebe works for Calgary’s not-for-profit sector, where she has several years of experience. She is a member of the Kainai First Nation and is committed to the work of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. In 2020, she was awarded the diversity and inclusion award from the University of Calgary in the staff category.
