Lynch initially came to the public's attention in 2010 along with his siblings in the group R5, but he gained wider attention starring in the Disney Channel productions Austin & Ally and Teen Beach Movie. Following the end of R5, Lynch and his brother Rocky Lynch founded the Driver Era, releasing 2019's X, 2021's Girlfriend, and 2022's Summer Mixtape. At the same time, he earned acclaim for his acting, including playing serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in My Friend Dahmer and starred as Harvey Kinkle in Netflix's The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
