John Sherwood de Lancie, Jr. (born March 20, 1948) [1] is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Q in various Star Trek series, beginning with Star Trek: The Next Generation in 1987 and leading up to the third season of Star Trek: Picard in 2023.
John de Lancie is an American actor, producer and writer, best known for his roles as Eugene Bradford on Days of Our Lives and Q on Star Trek: The Next Generation. He has also voiced characters in video games, podcasts and animated shows, such as My Little Pony and Marvel's Squirrel Girl.
