Early in life she had pursued athletics, and enjoyed her greatest sporting achievements aged 10, coming third place in an 880-yard run and fourth in a mile run in a nationwide competition. Unfortunately, things took a dark and unexpected turn some weeks later when Hill collapsed whilst training.
