Feb 27, 2023 · Inspired by the blacksmiths he saw on a first-grade field trip to a living history museum in Virginia, Jed Curtis got his first anvil later that year. He taught himself to blacksmith at age 15, continued to work in the craft through college, and founded his company in 2012.
