Lois Ruth Maxwell (née Hooker; February 14, 1927 – September 29, 2007) was a Canadian actress who portrayed Miss Moneypenny in the first fourteen Eon-produced James Bond films (1962–1985), [1] from Dr. No in 1962 to A View to a Kill in 1985.

She didn't fit the same role as the others, but she was a steadfast supporting star, playing the role in 14 films for more than two decades until her final appearance alongside Roger Moore in A View to A Kill in 1985.
