Solomon Hersh Frees (June 22, 1920 – November 2, 1986), better known as Paul Frees, was an American actor, comedian, impressionist, and vaudevillian.

Nov 6, 1986 · Paul Frees, whose famous voices emanated from a little-known face, has died in his Tiburon, Calif., home. He was 66 and died Saturday.
Some of his most memorable voice performances are still playing today at Disney Parks: Paul is the Ghost Host in the Haunted Mansion, and many of the various Pirates of the Caribbean. Paul Frees passed away on November 2, 1986, in Tiburon, California.
