Erica Huang (born February 27, 1997) is a former child actress who voiced June from Little Einsteins.
Huang is an actor based in New York.
Erica Huang grew up voicing characters for Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and PBS, and performing on stage at The Public, Ars Nova, and the American Girl Place Theatre. She took time off from the professional world to train at BU, and is excited to dive back in after graduation.
In addition to being an actor, Erica is an accomplished musician and composer with 10+ years of jazz guitar and classical piano training. The list of instruments she has played in shows includes the guitar, piano, banjo, ukulele, accordion, mandolin, cajon, and a suitcase. She received a scholarship award from Berklee College of Music for jazz guitar, and has sung twice at Carnegie Hall in concerts hosted by her music academy.
Recently, Erica has been working as an audio engineer, sound designer, and coproducer of a historical podcast about Sikhism called “The Story of the Sikhs”. The podcast is currently at 23,000 downloads and is being used as a teaching tool for a Harvard Sikhism course.
Erica is also interested in developing new work by fellow women of color. She recently helped produce the world premiere of the new play “Bones Like Dust” at Boston University and participated in a workshop of the new play “Memorial” at the Boston Playwright's Theatre.
