Mary Jo Pehl (/ p iː l /; born February 27, 1960, in Circle Pines, Minnesota) is an American writer, actress, and comedian. She is best known for her various roles on the television series Mystery Science Theater 3000.
A writer on Mystery Science Theater 3000, and featured as the beloved arch-nemesis Pearl Forrester, Mary Jo Pehl is, of course, best known for being a crossword puzzle clue in a national magazine.
