De La Croix began her career with roles in the Robert McLane comedy "Up" (1976) and the Phil Silvers comedy "The Chicken Chronicles" (1977). Later, De La Croix acted in "Hear No Evil" (1982-83), the Peter Keleghan comedy "Screwballs" (1983) and "The Lost Empire" (1985).
