Raymond Massey (born August 30, 1896, Toronto, Ontario, Canada—died July 29, 1983, Los Angeles, California, U.S.) was a Canadian-American actor, director, and producer. Massey was born into a prominent Toronto family. He served in the Canadian Army and was wounded at Ypres, France, in 1916.
