The Park Office is open from 9am to 2pm Monday-Friday. The park is open to the public from 1pm-8pm, Wednesday-Sunday. Our Batting Cages and Mini-Golf courses are open Wednesday-Friday 4pm-8pm and Saturday-Sunday 1pm-8pm.
Lakemont Park is an amusement park located in Altoona, Pennsylvania. The park opened in 1894 as a trolley park and became an amusement park in 1899. It is one of only thirteen trolley parks still operating, and the 8th oldest amusement park in the United States.

The nicest park of the park was the entrance plaza. We were not impressed, to say the least. Unlike DelGrosso's, which seemed to fit a good many rides into a small compact area, Lakemont seemed to fit a handful of rides into a large spread out area.
