John Joseph Havlicek (/ ˈ h æ v l ɪ tʃ ɛ k / HAV-lih-chek; April 8, 1940 – April 25, 2019) was an American professional basketball player who spent his entire career with the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
John Havlicek was a Hall of Fame small forward and shooting guard who played 16 seasons in the NBA. He won eight championships, 11 All-NBA selections, and was named one of the 75 greatest players in NBA history.
