  3. Lance was born to British citizens Ronald VJ and Patricia Mountain, in Pasadena, CA in June of 1964. His love of skateboarding began when friend Enrique Esparza gave Lance his used board in 1975. Lance quickly updated from clay wheels to urethane wheels and got his hands on his first Skateboard Magazine which proved to be highly influential.
