    Masato Onodera (小野寺 正人, Onodera Masato, born September 10, 1981 in Ichinoseki, Iwate, Japan) is a Japanese professional wrestler, better known by his ring name YAMATO (stylized in all capital letters), who works for Dragon Gate, where he is a former six-time Open The Triangle Gate Champion, a former record-breaking five-times Open The Dream Gate Champion, a ten-times Open The Twin Gate Champion, a five-time Open The Triangle Gate Champion, and the winner 2007 NEX-1 Tournament, 2009 Summer Adventure Tag League and the 2016 King of Gate. YAMATO also worked on Dragon Gate's American branch Dragon Gate USA, where he is a former Open the Freedom Gate Champion.

    YAMATO is the only wrestler to hold the Open The Dream Gate Championship for a record five times, with his fourth reign being the second longest in the title history.
