Kevin Leon Byard III[1] (born August 17, 1993) is an American professional football safety for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders. [2] Byard was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the third round of the 2016 NFL draft.
Played in all 16 games with seven starts as a rookie and finished fifth on the team with 63 tackles. Ranked second on the squad with 10 special teams tackles. Collected a sack, five tackles for loss, three quarterback pressures and four passes defensed. Led or tied for the lead in tackles twice.
