Benjamin Harold Zeitlin (/ ˈ b ɛ n ˈ z aɪ t l ɪ n /; born October 14, 1982) is an American filmmaker, best known for writing and directing the 2012 film Beasts of the Southern Wild, for which he received two Academy Award nominations.
Benh Zeitlin is a filmmaker who made his debut with Beasts of the Southern Wild, a critically acclaimed drama set in Louisiana. He also directed Wendy, a live-action adaptation of Peter Pan, and composed the music for several films.
