Charles James "Charlie" Bean is an American animator, director, storyboard artist, and writer. He is best known for his work in many animated television series and films, such as The LEGO Batman Movie and The LEGO Ninjago Movie.
For Disney, he was the layout animation artist for 8 episodes of Timon & Pumbaa. He also directed the 2012 Disney XD series Tron: Uprising and the 2019 live-action remake of Lady and the Tramp.
