Luigi Zampa (2 January 1905 – 16 August 1991) was an Italian film director. Biography [ edit ] Son of a worker, Zampa studied filmmaking from 1932 to 1937 at the Italian film school Centro sperimentale di cinematografia in Rome.
Luigi Zampa (1905-1991) was a writer, director and producer of Italian films, known for his anti-war and social criticism works. He also made comedies, musicals and escapist movies, and was the father of journalist and actor Fabrizio Zampa.
