- In the Mood for Love 花樣年華 (2000) Of course, In the Mood for Love takes the top spot. Not only because it is so often called one of the greatest films of all time, but because it is actually a rather unconventional Wong film that manages the restraint and subtlety that we don't often see in his other films.
- 2046 (2004) Again, for me, 2046 and In the Mood for Love hold the same standing in my heart, though the latter wins out for the top spot for obvious reasons and because of how it changed upon rewatch.
