I began my photographic journey while studying abroad in Amsterdam in 2008. I had purchased my first dSLR for the trip and found myself behind the viewfinder most of the time instead of practicing music (the reason I was there).
I love meeting new people and forming a bond between me and my subjects, even if it's only for a brief time. It's challenging to photograph people you don't know in a way that makes your subject look honest and true.
