What We Do. Maintain over 38 parks which are 300 acres of park land. Offer recreation programs for youth and adults. Organize special events annually. Offer facilities and park spaces for rental. Facilitate the Stewardship Monroe Volunteer Program.
The County's parks are open to the public from April through October. We start taking reservations for parks on March 1st. It is on a first come first serve basis. A fee of $30 is required to reserve a pavilion and you will receive a permit for that pavilion.
