Rock House Kids is a 501(C)3 outreach organization that seeks to feed at-risk children physically, spiritually and emotionally. Since 1999, we have cared for Rockford’s inner city children, ages 6-18, by providing a safe, warm and nurturing environment.

We are proud to have a community of thirty one local programs in 59 of the 102 counties across the state of Illinois that support children who have experienced abuse and neglect in Illinois. Search below by county to find a local program near you.
We served over 130 youth at OCH. We saw 2 kids become valedictorian of their high school class! We helped families reunite and kids find their forever homes through adoption! Goals were met and lives are changed. The years are short. I hope you will take a few minutes and read our AIR.

Our Center is a house, and we have done our best to make it a warm and comforting environment. When you arrive, a staff member will help you get settled in our living room. Non-offending family members are invited to come with, but may not be with the child during the interview process.

The history of this unique place and God-given church, began in the late 60s, when Bishop Serafim, who always loved children, conceived the idea of creating a youth organization and a children's summer camp in his diocese.
