Big Talbot Island State Park is committed to providing a variety of amenities accessible to all of our visitors. These amenities include: Elevated viewing platform deck at Bluffs. Mobi-Mat that allows access to the viewing platform. Picnic facilities with tables and grills. Restrooms. Paved multi-use Timucuan pathway.

It is located on Big Talbot Island, a coastal barrier island 20 miles east of downtown Jacksonville on A1A North and immediately north of Little Talbot Island State Park along the Atlantic coastal plain. The park is a nature preserve and a location for nature study, bird-watching, or photography.
One of the secret findings in Big Talbot Island State Park is the Boneyard Beach. It’s such a photogenic area that it’s much more stunning when seen in person than in pictures. It’s truly like being in a dream when you walk through the beach and the scattered dead trees throughout.
